Interactive 3D web development is a way to design, create and conceptualise websites to innovate within the world of websites.
3D Navigation
For platforms like 3D Open Days at Avans we took a 3D model created in Blender or Cinema4D and added an interactive layer on top of the individual 3D models for web development. This allows us to animate the model and add popups or navigation like behaviour.
WebVR, WebAR or WebXR
We can create virtual or augmented reality projects and environments on the web. The web is accessible from any VR headset, meaning we can create an experience that is viewable for all devices with fallbacks for regular desktops or phones. Your experience can be seen by almost anything and explored with VR Headsets
2D animation and HTML
Not everything in a 3D website is 3D. All clickable areas are HTML buttons, link or other elements. This means everyone can access the product, making it accessible and usable for more people. We overlay our 3D model with HTML that is set to the same size and depth as the model. This means you think you're clicking on 3D models, but it's actually just a normal website.
